Cambridge’s Certified Nursing Assistant Training
A Certified Nursing Assistant’s main role is to provide quality individualized care to patients. They also assist them with daily activities such as bathing and feeding. CNA’s provides detail attention, which encourages each resident’s ability to maintain or attain the highest practical, physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.
Foot Care
Cambridge students practice Foot Care to assess the patients’ feet for signs of skin breakdown, particularly diabetic patients. Each student is taught the proper way to assess the diabetic foot to ensure that the skin on the foot remains intact to prevent a non-healing wound.
The students practice the hands-on skill in the classroom and are taught not only how to perform the skill, but also how to report their findings.
