Orlando Campus attends the Simply IOA Corporate 5K Race

Cambridge College of Healthcare & Technology, Orlando Campus, attended the Simply IOA Corporate 5K Race the evening of Thursday, April 21st. A team of both students, faculty/staff joined together to represent Cambridge at this annual event to display school spirit and conduct professional networking with corporations to include Healthcare companies within the Central Florida area. Cambridge College of Healthcare & Technology’S Radiology Program has just signed an affiliation with Memorial Hospital in Miramar, Florida! Memorial is one of the largest public healthcare systems in the nation and is recognized as a national leader in quality healthcare. Memorial Hospital West offers a wide range of healthcare services, including one of the busiest adult emergency care departments in Broward County. Memorial has a reputation as one of Florida’s leading healthcare systems and is supported by a distinguished medical staff. We are proud to be part of their team!

Cambridge Adds SimonMed to Our Clinical Rotations

The Radiologic Technologist program would like to announce that we add SimonMed to our clinical rotations. SimonMed will offer our students a wide variety of exams consisting of Diagnostic, MRI, CT, Dexa scans, Mammograms, Nuclear Medicine and Interventional Radiology. These locations are all over the Orlando area adding 13 sites for our students. The students started last week and have already seen a difference in their education by adding these sites.

Cambridge Adds Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta to Our Clinical Affiliates Family

The Cambridge DMS program is happy to announce Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) and their urgent care center to our clinical affiliates family. Since joining us in May 2018, Sundus Agad, Clinical Coordinator, has successfully added seven slots to the general concentration rotation: CIMA, Maternal Fetal Specialist (MEDNAX) Gwinnett, Maternal Fetal Specialist (MEDNAX) Northside, Piedmont Fayette, Piedmont Howell Mill, 210 Imaging and now Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Cambridge College Partnered with Autism Speaks Walk to Raise Awareness & Research Funding!

Together with the Garchik Family, the Cambridge Cares Team volunteered to participate in the annual “Autism Speaks Palm Beach Walk” in downtown West Palm Beach. On Sunday, March 5th, Cambridge’s students, faculty, friends, parents, spouses and children gathered together to support this event. Autism Speaks Walk is the world’s largest autism fundraising event dedicated to improving the lives of people with autism. This is the Garchik Family’s 9th year co-chairing a walk for Autism Speaks. Cambridge Job and Online Career Center Announcement!

Cambridge is excited to announce our new Online Career Center. The Online Career Center will commence January 2016 and will be a tremendous asset for students, graduates, and employers.  This is an interactive website that is powered by College Central Network (utilized by 700+ colleges strong across the USA).   The website will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for students, alumni and employers.  You may ask, “Why is this important to me?”  The answers for each group this site will serve are below. Cambridge Institute—Atlanta Campus’s Commitment to Virtual Clean Water Run!

Several of Cambridge Atlanta campus students and faculty members are participating in the Virtual Clean Water Run during the month of May 2015. The Event’s proceeds are 100% given to the charity named Water, which directly funds clean water solutions. Cambridge’s students and faculty are participating at various gyms or at home throughout the month. The project was created to promote exercise and to help fund solutions for clean water. This leadership event is part of Cambridge’s underlying approach to helping others and caring for the community.

Radiology Students Strut Their Stuff & Raise Money for Breast Cancer!

Students and the Director from the Radiology group participated in the Glam-a-thon Strut to help raise money for local women fighting breast cancer. Glam-A-THON™ is a sustainable, dynamic breast cancer charity dedicated to helping our families, friends and neighbors in the communities where we live. Broward Health Medical Center and Cambridge Institute Team Up The program teamed up with their clinical affiliate, Broward Health Medical Center in Ft Lauderdale and received the Glam Queen Crown for raising the most money, $16,380! Cambridge applauds the Radiology program for their support to the community.
