Cambridge College of Healthcare & Technology Chancellor and CEO Elected to Johns Hopkins Medicine Sibley Hospital Foundation

Dr. Terrence “Terry” LaPier, Chancellor & CEO of Cambridge College of Healthcare & Technology was recently elected to serve on the board of trustees for the Johns Hopkins Medicine Sibley Hospital Foundation.  This foundation was established to provide philanthropic support to the Sibley Memorial Hospital and over the past several years has provided funding for a number of projects that have improved the services that the hospital can provide including a new state of the art intensive care unit in 2023 to better care for acutely ill patients.  The foundation also supports extensive cancer research and receives grants to help treat and support thousands of patients each year at the Kimmel Cancer Center and the Sibley Proton Therapy Center.  Sibley also partners with nursing schools in their area to provide scholarships for nursing students as they transition to clinical practice upon graduation.

Dr. LaPier is a distinguished leader who received a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics, an AMP from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s degree from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University.  He was on the faculty for 17 years at the Wharton School at Pennsylvania University and he is a member and trustee for a number of prominent organizations.  Cambridge College is excited that he will be adding the Johns Hopkins Medicine Sibley Hospital Foundation to his list of board of trustee appointments.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. LaPier on receiving this honor and having the opportunity to share his knowledge and expertise to help improve the services that John Hopkins Medicine Sibley Hospital provides to the patients it serves.
