Cambridge Job and Online Career Center Announcement!

Cambridge is excited to announce our new Online Career Center. The Online Career Center will commence January 2016 and will be a tremendous asset for students, graduates, and employers.  This is an interactive website that is powered by College Central Network (utilized by 700+ colleges strong across the USA).   The website will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for students, alumni and employers.  You may ask, “Why is this important to me?”  The answers for each group this site will serve are below. The website address will be http://www.collegecentral.com/cambridgehealth. You will then pick your category by clicking on the icon representing whether you are a student, alumni, or an employer.

For Students and Alumni:  Students and alumni will be able to register on the site, upload a resume, upload a portfolio (i.e. certifications, recommendation letters, etc.), and have access to multiple databases of jobs and internships.  The students and alumni will also be able to see an Events Calendar of area career fairs as well as having access to a career library that contains such podcasts giving tips on resume development, interviewing skills, dress for success, etc.  The student and graduates will be able to respond to job postings, and the College Central Network system will track where you have sent your resume (by date).  You will also be able to see where the Career Services Department has forwarded your resume.  You will also be able to see which employers have accessed your resume by date.

For Employers: Employers will be able to go the website to register, post jobs, and search and download resumes.  Employers’ career events will be able to be posted on the site. The site will keep a historical record of which resumes were pulled.  An employer may be able to find resumes even on a weekend and have a Cambridge Institute and College graduate hired before Monday!

For the Career Services Department: With the start of the Online Career Center, once students and employers have registered, the Career Services Department will be able to batch resumes in accordance with the specification of the employers’ requests and forward electronically.  The department will also be able to create an Events Calendar for students, alumni and employers to access.  In addition, the Career Services Department will be able to notify the entire populations with one email about important job openings or events.  Also as employers find this valuable resource on our website, this will trigger employer visits and possible clinical affiliations.
