- Clinical rotations through hospitals, imaging facilities and doctor offices
Each of our campus locations offer the support students need to succeed, as well as the latest in industry technology, allowing students to learn on the equipment they’ll use throughout their career. Upon successful completion of the program, students will be prepared to thrive in hospital, clinic, emergency room and outpatient care settings.
Partial Online Training for Greater Convenience
Our campuses offer even greater flexibility and convenience for our Diagnostic Medical Sonography students through a partial online learning environment. While this flex program is great for everyone, it is often ideal for working students or students with children.
Note: Students must live near our Atlanta/Delray/Orlando campus to participate in clinical labs and in-person classes.
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, employment opportunities for diagnostic medical sonographers and ultrasound technicians are expected to grow faster than the average for all occupations through 2016. As the population ages and grows, the demand for qualified diagnostic medical sonographers will increase. Additional employment opportunities will arise as current ultrasound technicians retire and move to leadership roles.
