I would first like to say nursing school is a challenge and a lot of work and sacrifice with life changes. I can honestly say my teacher made it a little smooth. Mrs. Burke is an AWESOME teacher. I can honestly say I wouldn’t ask for a better teacher! I’m not just saying this because I’m a nursing student that attends Cambridge but I mean this from the bottom of my heart. From the beginning of our first class she teaches very well. Mrs. Burke explains everything and gives examples of her own experience from being a nurse in the E.R. and other locations. Mrs. Burk teaches med-terminology words in our first course so when we start to do head-to-toe assessment and when we take medical terminology class we will get familiar with some of the words. At first, I started with low grades on my quizzes and when I had my one-on- ne talk with her, she explains what I need to work on and how to study and what tools that can help me. I genuinely see she has the passion for teaching and making sure we are ready for the real world. I thank you for allowing me to be a part of this school and hiring Mrs. Burk as an instructor is the best decision this school could have made. Trust me I can say I’m not the only student that feels the same.
