Nursing vs. Sonography: What Are the Key Differences?

Course Material

Education Requirements
To become a sonographer, you’ll need to obtain an Associate degree, which includes two years of study. In contrast, to enter the nursing field, there are various routes you can take.
For example, you can become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in as little as 5 weeks. Yet, to become a Registered Nurse, you’ll need to attend a two-year Associate program.
Due to these requirements, a sonography program might be a bit more challenging than a CNA program. It all depends on the path you choose.
