Dr. Terry LaPier has been appointed to the Boards of Visitors of both The Tim and Steph Busch School of Business and the Conway School of Nursing at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. Boards of Visitors bring together experienced leaders in business, healthcare, and education who volunteer their time to advise each school’s leadership, support its students, and help strengthen its programs.

Cambridge College Altamonte Participates in Large-scale Mass Casualty Exercise
Over 80 of our students arrived bright and early at 6 AM to be transformed by special effects makeup artists into victims of traumatic incidents like explosions and train wrecks. From there, they headed to Advent Health to participate in a high-impact, real-world emergency simulation—helping healthcare professionals and first responders prepare for crisis response.

Cambridge Attends the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk
We were honored to participate in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Saturday, October 26th! Together, our students and faculty joined the Orlando community for a meaningful 3-mile walk in support of breast cancer awareness. Thanks to a successful campus fundraiser, our students raised over $300 to contribute to this important cause. Dr. Terrence “Terry” LaPier, Chancellor & CEO of Cambridge College of Healthcare & Technology was recently elected to serve on the board of trustees for the Johns Hopkins Medicine Sibley Hospital Foundation. This foundation was established to provide philanthropic support to the Sibley Memorial Hospital and over the past several years has provided funding for a number of projects that have improved the services that the hospital can provide including a new state of the art intensive care unit in 2023 to better care for acutely ill patients.
