  • Coding Associate: Coding associates use ICD-10 and other components to code medical treatments and diagnoses inside the medical record. They also use these codes to bill insurances for payment.
  • Clinical Outcomes Coordinator: Clinical outcomes coordinators analyze patient data to determine if quality care is being delivered. They look for areas of improvement and support medical providers in making changes in care to promote better outcomes.
  • Medical Records Technician: As a medical records technician, you would be responsible for managing and maintaining the patient medical record. This may include auditing records for accuracy, performing quality assurance or updating records based on new patient information.
  • Health IT Instructor: Health IT instructors spend their days teaching care providers and healthcare professionals how to properly use health information and tech-based systems.
