What Is the Job Outlook for Data Analysts?

The data analyst career is growing fast throughout the US. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the career is expected to grow 25% between now and 2029, much faster than average. Organizations are beginning to see the importance of hiring data experts for their data-driven environments.

As an entry-level data analyst, your salary will differ depending on where you choose to work. For instance, according to Glassdoor, the average yearly salary for entry-level data analysts is $62,453 with $43,000 being the minimum average and $95,000 being the maximum average. As an employee, you’ll also be eligible for benefits like health insurance and paid time off.

How to Become a Data Analyst

To become a data analyst, you’ll first need to obtain your high school diploma or GED. Next, you’ll need to attend an accredited Data & Project Management program such as the one offered through Cambridge.

Once complete, you’ll be able to pursue additional certifications such as the Internet Webmaster Data Analyst certification or Structured Query Language-related certification.
