As a systems architect, you would spend your time developing, maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems. You would be responsible for ensuring these systems are working properly and meeting the needs of the organization.

Job Outlook: According to the Dice report, this career has grown 5.1% in salary since 2020. All organizations require systems architects to ensure their systems are up and running at all times.

Cybersecurity Engineer

Cybersecurity engineers work to identify and mitigate threats to networks and computer systems. They then use what they learn to improve existing systems so the threat doesn’t happen in the same way again.

Job Outlook: The Dice report data states that this career has grown 0.5% between 2020 and now. Cybersecurity professionals are required in all industries to ensure networks and systems are secure.

Project Manager

As a project manager, you’ll play a key role in managing an organization’s projects. You’ll organize tasks, motivate internal teams and so much more. Some aspiring project managers will start as assistants to gain experience.
