American Cancer Society and Cambridge Institute Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

Cambridge’s students, staff & families volunteered to participate in the annual “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer South Palm Beach Walk” on October 25th from the Mizner Park Amphitheater. Cambridge Institute Supports American Heart Association Heart Walk & Fundraiser

Cambridge Students & Staff volunteered in the American Heart Association Heart Walk & Fundraiser. It was a beautiful morning in West Palm Beach for the 3 Mile walk. The crowd was estimated at 12,000 people, which is the largest fundraiser in Palm Beach County. There were friends, sisters, husbands and even children that awoke early to support this event. Walter Reed Medical Center—Washington, DC: Cambridge’s Leadership helping serve Wounded Warriors!

Cambridge’s CEO donated food and served meals at the last two Annual July 4th barbeques at Walter Reed Medical Center! The Sovereign Military Order of Malta hosted the large barbeque and served barbecued steaks and chicken, a variety of homemade salads baked potatoes and drinks to a record 850 people. Rosalie Villecco, BSN, RN, CARN, the Practical Nursing, Program Director in Orlando, (Altamonte Springs) Florida, recently attended a 3-day writing workshop organized by ATI Mental Health. Cambridge’s Delray Beach Campus — Radiation Therapy Students — Giving Back

Cambridge’s Radiation Therapy students and the Student Ambassadors from its Delray Beach program coordinated a clothing drive for the Florida Breast Cancer Foundation. Thanks to the generosity of the Cambridge students and staff, we were able to donate 45 large bags of clothing, toys and shoes to the foundation.  The Florida Breast Cancer Foundation uses the Cambridge funds from the donations to help end breast cancer through advocacy, education, and research.
