My name is Kristen and I am currently enrolled in the Practical Nursing program. My teacher is Mrs. Burk. Mrs. Burk has been amazing! Nursing school is tough, but she makes you feel like you CAN do it. Her confidence in me has helped me keep my confidence in myself and that is something very special. Mrs. Burk makes sure that you have every tool available to you so that you can be the best you can be. She makes herself available for tutoring and answers any and all questions we ask her. Even if her answer is “Is it?”! She truly cares about her students and takes pride in teaching us. I truly believe she is molding us into being the best nurses we can be. I am so happy that the beginning of my nursing career has been with her!
