When Dr. Terrence LaPier came to what was originally IAMP and turned it into Cambridge College of Healthcare and Technology, it became much more than just a college but instead a place where careers and healthcare professionals are made. I met Dr. LaPier at a point in the program where I was struggling in trying to obtain financial aid for the duration of the program. He took the time to see what was going on and made sure my future wasn’t jeopardized over this situation. I was assured his financial team would help me in obtaining a student loan. Shortly after I was approved, a message was relayed with the good news from Dr. LaPier with positive and motivating words about my future career as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. If it wasn’t for all of his help, I may not have had the chance to continue in the program and be where I am today; along with the amazing teachers I had the opportunity to train with and learn from of course! The program set me up with a clinical site that hired me straight out of the program and taught me even more valuable skills to add to my resume. Today I am a full-time, registered cardiac sonographer working for a large and successful cardiology group in Palm Beach (Cardiology Partners, LLC). I could not be happier with where I’m at in my career and I thank Dr. LaPier along with my teachers for all that they’ve done.
