Cambridge College of Healthcare & Technology Names Valedictorian and Salutatorian for the Class of 2025

Cambridge College of Healthcare & Technology names Valedictorian and Salutatorian for the Class of 2025

The graduating class of 2025 for Cambridge College of Healthcare & Technology’s Atlanta campus gathered Friday, June 6 at the Gas South Convention Center in Duluth, GA for their graduation ceremony. Over 200 students, 20% of them earning honors, gathered to walk across the stage and receive their degrees and diplomas from the College President. Addressing the class was their Valedictorian and Salutatorian.

The Valedictorian, Shris Sicodia, is a graduate of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. Addressing her fellow graduates, Shris stated,  “Today is a truly special day for all of us. It took serious dedication, countless late nights, early arrivals to lab and class, hard decisions, sacrifices and of course, everyone’s favorite part those long, never-ending days in clinicals.” She triumphantly stated, “We made it, y’all we really made it!”  Shris concluded her remarks with words of gratitude and encouragement thanking her professors, family and friends who encouraged her and supported her to keep going and never give up. “So here’s to chasing dreams, helping people, and making a difference.”

Madison Costa, a graduate of the Radiation Therapy program was named the Salutatorian. Madison acknowledged the hard work it took for every graduate to get to this day. She said, “To my fellow classmates—I see you. I’ve watched you show up, again and again, even  through the setbacks no one else could see. Trust me when I say this, you did not get here by accident. You got here because you kept showing up, even when it was hard, even when no one was clapping, even when quitting would’ve been easier…I see your strength. It’s in the stories you’ve shared and the ones you’ve kept to yourself. It’s in the quiet moments you chose to keep going, even when everything in you said stop. We all took different paths to get here, but we made it- not because it was easy or because it was handed to us- we made it because we earned it every late night, every sacrifice, and every ounce of self-belief rebuilt from the ground up.”

Shris has received two job offer letters and is deciding between them as she starts her sonography career. Madison is working at Northside Cherokee Hospital. Congratulations to these top students and all graduates of the Cambridge College Class of 2025!

On their way to earning their Associate of Science degrees, Shris and Madison learned in hands on simulation labs and on-site clinical externships.
