Through the use of specialized equipment, technicians analyze bodily fluids such as blood and urine, and tissue samples resulting from biopsies. After their analysis, they record both normal and abnormal results for diagnosis by a medical professional. In their day-to-day work, technicians operate sophisticated lab equipment such as microscopes and cell counters.
