As a mother, I was determined to build a better future for myself and my daughter. With a strong interest in both coding and healthcare, discovering medical coding felt like the perfect path. Within six months of completing my medical billing and coding program, I landed my first job—even with no prior experience. A year later, I secured my first remote coding position in ophthalmology. Cambridge College played a key role in my success—the supportive instructors and comprehensive curriculum prepared me to pass my CPC exam on the first attempt. Now, I’m proud to be graduating with my associate’s degree in Health Information Technology and working in a field I’m passionate about.
