Choose the Right Nursing Program for You
At our Miami location, Cambridge College offers three nursing programs to choose from, allowing you to pick the one that best meets your needs.
Associates of Science in Nursing
Designed to prepare you for state licensure, this registered nursing program uses highly qualified instructors to help you master the foundational knowledge, training and skills you’ll need for success.
Our ASN program offers two tracks:
- Traditional - 90 weeks, for candidates who are new to nursing and aspire to get started in this rewarding profession.
- Bridge - 75 weeks, for candidates who are licensed as LPNs, paramedics or respiratory therapists.
What Is the Job Outlook for Nurses?
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of registered nurses is projected to grow 9% between 2020 and 2030, with 194,500 job openings on average each year over the decade.
Practical Nursing
Learn the practical skills necessary to launch your career in nursing by earning your practical nursing diploma at Cambridge College. You’ll get hands-on experience coordinating care, performing basic nursing tasks and working alongside physicians and other medical professionals.
This 45-week state regulatory agency-approved diploma program is designed to prepare you for the National Council Licensing Exam for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN).
What is the Job Outlook for Nurses?
According to the U.S. Department of Labor, employment of LPN’s is projected to grow 3 percent from 2023 to 2033, about as fast as the average for all occupations. About 54,000 openings for LPNs are projected each year, on average, over the decade.
Nursing Assistant
The Nursing Assistant program at Cambridge provides students with the education and practical training to become Nursing Assistants. Led by highly qualified staff and instructors, students can complete the program in less than two months and be ready to flourish in a nursing assistant career.
