Nursing Faculty Experiencing Virtual Reality Education

David Alvey with Regina Forbes from Pearson Education visited the Cambridge Delray campus today to introduce Microsoft’s AR solution, HoloLens Technology, for advance training. Pearson is piloting a mixture of virtual and augmented reality content to be used at colleges, universities, and secondary schools in the United States and around the world.

The Cambridge College of Healthcare and Technology – Delray Beach Nursing faculty got a first-hand view of this new technology, which is on the cutting edge of health education programs. With virtual reality, the user is immersed in a simulated world, which allows students a real hands-on opportunity to learn patient care through a 3-D format.
