Starting in 2020, there is a new opportunity available at Cambridge College of Healthcare & Technology. We’re opening a phlebotomy school at our Miami campus. We’ve offered similar programs in other cities, but the new Miami program will help students in the Miami area learn phlebotomy and gain the skills they’ll need to enter the medical field.

As a phlebotomist (also called a phlebotomy tech), you’ll be a skilled technician who plays an important role in your care team. You’ll collect blood samples to help doctors successfully diagnose and treat a full range of medical concerns.
Miami Phlebotomy Program Overview
Phlebotomists work directly with patients, and they use safe medical techniques to protect patients and to keep samples accurate. Our course will teach you everything you need to know to enter into a phlebotomy career.

After you get your certification for completing training, you will need to take and pass the National Healthcare Association (NHA) exam. After successful passing, you’ll be licensed as a phlebotomist and can seek employment in the Miami area or in another location, depending on your plans.
