Cambridge Institute for Allied Health & Technology’s Radiation Therapy Program at the Atlanta Campus is an excellent program for prospective students desiring to become engaged in the field of radiation therapy. Cambridge’s Atlanta program staff members have a combined total of over 40 years in radiation therapy experience and knowledge. Cambridge’s instructors strive to give each student personalized attention that is rarely found in larger university settings. Each student has full access to Cambridge’s instructors and offer, private and group tutoring sessions, so our radiation therapy students have the opportunity to excel. In addition to our on campus instruction, the program also has a great array of clinic sites. Going into the 2016 year, we have acquired 3 new clinical sites for our students. This will allow the students to gain experience on a wider variety of equipment, see more special procedures, and most importantly gain the knowledge and skills needed to treat patients correctly and effectively once they step out into the field as a therapist.
In 2016, the Radiation Therapy program has great things planned! Throughout the semester the classes will take field trips with instructors to give them a learning experience outside of the campus setting. We also look forward to our 1st graduating class of the Associate degree program.
