  • Physical therapist assistant: As a PTA, you’ll work with physical therapists to administer treatments such as exercise and massage to patients. Plus, becoming a PTA is the first step towards becoming a physical therapist.
  • Diagnostic medical sonographer: Medical sonographers or ultrasound techs use specialized equipment to examine parts of the body such as the abdomen, thyroid, heart and more. Through these images, they assist medical professionals in the diagnosis of medical issues.
  • Medical assistant: As a medical assistant, you’ll work under the supervision of a physician to prep patients for exams, chart vital signs, perform injections and more.
