What is Radiography?
Radiographic technology uses ionizing radiation, also known as x-rays, to create dynamic images of tissues and internal parts of the body for medical diagnostic purposes. Radiographers work in direct contact with patients and must possess excellent communication skills in order to accurately provide directions and explain procedures to those that they care for. In order to work in a medical setting such as a hospital, clinic or doctor’s office, radiographers must successfully attend and complete an accredited radiographer degree course.
