Students looking to achieve an Associateof Science Degree in Radiography can do so at our Delray Beach Campus located on the campus of Delray Medical Center. This program is two years in length and consists of classroom, laboratory, clinical, and general education course work. What is Radiography?

Radiographic technology uses ionizing radiation, also known as x-rays, to create dynamic images of tissues and internal parts of the body for medical diagnostic purposes. Radiographers work in direct contact with patients and must possess excellent communication skills in order to accurately provide directions and explain procedures to those that they care for. In order to work in a medical setting such as a hospital, clinic or doctor’s office, radiographers must successfully attend and complete an accredited radiographer degree course. Nationwide, the need for radiographers continues to grow based on many breakthroughs in the health care industry for uses of this important skill.
