On the campus of Delray Medical Center

Located in a Class A building on the campus of Delray Medical Center, this school consists of six (6) large classrooms, an energized x-ray laboratory with computerized radiography for positioning, an ultrasound laboratory for training and extra help, a fully equipped practical nursing laboratory for practical nursing hands-on training, a library of case studies, reference books and audio-visual aids, which complement curriculum objectives, a break room, a reception area and ten (10) offices.

Associate Degrees:

Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program

This 28 month CAAHEP accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program provides students a high quality education in both the classroom setting and hands on experience in our labs. You will be taught by well trained, nationally registered instructors. Our students also go through clinical training at various health care facilities, medical centers and hospitals in the region. All campuses are with an excellent ultrasound laboratory to facilitate hands on experience.

Radiologic Technology Program

In this two-year degree program, students receive highly diversified instruction in radiation physics, radiation biology, anatomy, physiology, pathology and radiographic procedures through an offering of on-campus courses. Clinical course work includes assignments in general diagnostic procedures. Academic studies directly relate to the field of radiography.

Radiation Therapy Program

Cambridge Institute of Allied Health & Technology Radiation Therapy Program prepares students for the clinical, theoretical, technical and psychological aspects of a career in Radiation Therapy. Delray Beach Campus offers this as a 24 month Associate Degree program open to students with no prior medical experience. The Atlanta campus offers this program as a 20 month certificate program or as a 16 month certificate program for students currently ARRT certified in Radiography. The curriculum includes classroom instruction and clinical internship in a variety of Radiation Therapy procedures and equipment operation.

Certificate Programs

Practical Nursing Program

The practical nursing program offers students basic to advanced studies in nursing theory and clinical practice. The curriculum will prepare the student to function as a critical thinker throughout the nursing process and within the scope of practice. The instructional plan is designed to progress the student in nursing knowledge and skills in fundamentals, pharmacology, nutrition, medical surgical nursing, mental health, gerontology, maternity and pediatrics. Hands on and observatory clinical experiences will be completed in major medical and nursing facilities. This is a 52 week day program or 85 week evening program offering the graduate a Certificate of Completion and eligibility to apply for the NCLEX examination in a state of their choice.
