Annual Safety & Security Report
The Clery Act requires all institutions of higher education to publish an annual report of security policies and crime statistics. Information contained in this report was also solicited from the local city police forces for the purpose of identifying crimes that occurred on city streets and property adjacent to Cambridge College. This report is made available to all current students and employees; for a printed copy, visit the campus library. The report is also accessible via the website and distributed at new student orientation. The report is due by October 1st of each year and must contain certain crime statistics for the most recent three year reporting period. In addition to this report Cambridge College reports its crime statistics to the Department of Education, which posts the information to their web site at http://nces.ed.gov/collegenavigator.
A crime is reported when it is brought to the attention of a campus security authority or the local police by a victim, witness, other third party, or even the offender. Disclosure of crime reports must occur regardless of whether any of the individuals involved in either the crime itself, or in the reporting of the crime are associated with the College. Alleged criminal incidents will be reported even if no investigation by the police or campus security authority occurs that could result in a finding of guilt or responsibility.

Crime Statistics
Title IX Non-Discrimination & Grievance Process Policy
Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 is a federal civil rights law that prohibits sex-based discrimination in federally funded education programs and activities. Sex-based discrimination includes sexual harassment and sexual violence, such as rape, sexual assault, sexual battery, and sexual coercion. The law covers sex-based discrimination against students, faculty, and staff.
It is the policy of Cambridge College of Healthcare and Technology (hereafter referred to as the “College”) to maintain an environment for students, faculty, administrators, staff, and visitors that is free of all forms of discrimination and harassment, including sexual misconduct. The College has published and enacted the “Title IX Non-Discrimination & Grievance Process Policy” to reflect and maintain its adherence to all federal and state civil rights laws prohibiting discrimination and harassment in educational institutions and to reflect and maintain its values as an institution.
The College does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religious belief, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, pregnancy, ethnicity, disability, medical condition, veteran status, genetic information, age, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law in its programs and activities. This prohibition applies to all
College programs or activities, including but not limited to admission and employment.
The College will not tolerate discrimination of any kind, including all forms of sexual or gender-based discrimination, harassment, and misconduct, such as sexual assault, non-consensual sexual intercourse and/or contact, dating and domestic violence, sexual exploitation, and stalking. This policy further prohibits aiding or inciting another person(s) to violate its policy. The College’s policy specifically prohibits retaliation, in any form, against a person who reports, complains about, or who otherwise participates in good faith in any matter related to this policy.
