Diagnostic Medical Sonography Delray Beach, Florida Cambridge’s Mission and Commitment to DMS Students

It is Cambridge Institute of Allied Health & Technology’s mission and commitment to provide our Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) students with access to hands-on, cognitive and affective higher learning opportunities that will develop them to be successful sonographers. With our recently restored state-of-the-art ultrasound lab, students are exposed daily to the latest technology which enables them to develop a strong skill level to prepare them for successful job placements.

Cambridge’s CAAHEP approved program offers its sonographers to obtain the proper fundamentals and allied skills that enable them to confidently standout amongst veteran sonographers of any organization. It is our DMS purpose to set high standards for our students and faculty, which ultimately contributes to the development of their professional growth and prepares our students for the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) board exams. Here at Cambridge, we are proud to have a 100% student credentialing success rate in all ultrasound modalities (Echocardiography, Abdomen & OB-GYN).

We are dedicated to building and fostering an academic culture of innovation through hands-on allied training that will enhance student competence and critical thinking in the workplace. We are committed to providing leadership and service to our communities by collaborating with local schools and health care facilities to develop and maintain partnerships. All DMS students are given the opportunity to train at various clinical settings such as Cleveland Clinic Hospital; which has 240 physicians with expertise in 35 specialties and ranked third among the 66 best hospitals in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale metro area and ninth in Florida in US News & World Report’s 2015-2016. In addition, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, formerly Miami Children’s Hospital, offers more than 40 pediatric specialties and subspecialties, and is home to Florida’s only free-standing pediatric trauma center.

Cambridge is driven to set a tone of excellence for our faculty and students to uphold that will enable our successfully trained allied students to exceed expectations of health care organizations. It is our firm belief that Cambridge Institute of Allied Health & Technology’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) students will reshape health care with a distinction of professional allied health care workers.
